Frau Becker

„Frau Becker“ is a very dynamic and readable handwriting script that looks great in test sizes. It is a self-confident, expressive and strong character design. How old is “Frau Becker”? Is she an insurance agent, a surgeon or a designer? We do not know exactly but one thing is for sure: She can be found at any place where special, high-end design in conjunction with a reliable typographic basis is demanded, e.g. for posters, books, ad campaigns or magazines. “Frau Becker” is different from all other classical scripts – it is outstanding! Due its excellent readability, it is a precious and exceptional text font with styles as regular, bold and Headline (bold condensed). The character set includes “Basic Latin”, “Basic Latin 1”, Latin Eastern Europe, small caps, plenty of ligatures, old style figures and some special characters including a skull. Wow!!

German type designer Ralph M. Unger digitally remastered and expanded the typeface for profonts, and the digital OTF Pro version comprises of more than 400 characters including the complete Latin and Cyrillic glyph sets.
Graphique Pro is a Caps-only font as outline shadow, very narrow, very economic, and thus, ideally suited for headlines, posters, signs, CD-covers, book titles and a lot more.

Hanseat

Hanseat is a new profonts typeface family by Ralph M. Unger, heavily inspired by Germany’s official DIN 1451 Engschrift. Originally, the German DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung / German Committee for Industrial Standardization) typefaces were taken as the standard traffic fonts for street signs and house numbers. During the 1980s, the DIN fonts became digitally available for sign making systems, initially again primarily for traffic sign purposes. However, later on, the DIN fonts became also popular in the world of designers and art directors. Hanseat is a modern, contemporary interpretation of the DIN fonts, responding to the ever growing demand for such typeface designs reflecting the spirit of the industrial area.

Ivana Script is a clearly calligraphic handwriting script, designed by type designer Ivana Kudelkova from Prague, for the profonts library.

Jessen Schrift

The original Jessen typeface, named in reminescence of the great supporter of the printing art at the end of the 19th century, Peter Jessen, was designed in the years of 1924 until 1930. Bible Gothic was created by the famous German designer Rudolf Koch. Ralph M. Unger digitized this font exclusively for profonts in 2005, keeping his digitization as close as possible to the original design of Koch in order to preserve the distinguished character and the partly unconventional, original forms.
The concept of a Bible Gothic was developing for years in Koch's mind and drove the direction of his work, but only after the experience with his Neuland design could he start the creation of his Peter Jessen typeface. Produced quite like Neuland, Jessen, however, is much more refined and more accurate in detail than Neuland. At first glance, it seems to look plain and simple, but if you look closer, the richness of its distinguished upper case forms unfold to a perfectly clear flow of text.

Konzept Pro

Konzept was originally designed in 1968 by Berlin designer Martin Wilke for the former German type foundry Stempel. Ralph M. Unger revived this beautiful contemporary typeface in 2005 for the profonts library. He re-designed, completed and digitally re-mastered it. Profonts offers Konzept Pro in the new OpenType Pro format with additional characters such as stylistic alternates, ligatures etc. Konzept Pro is a very casual typeface with character forms rendering it a both very natural and realistic handwriting script.
